PostSubject: Spurrier Announces Starting Offense   Thu Sep 25, 2008 8:06 pm

Spurrier announced earlier this afternoon before he had initially planned to announce about his starting lineup this weekend against the UAB Blazers, and to not leave people hanging on anymore Steven Garcia was NOT announced as the starter, Chris Smelley will make the start but did note that Garcia would take some snaps in the first quarter. The line will stay the same, except for Heath Batchelor that is suspended do to academic reasons. Baker will get the start at RB and Maddox will follow, Mike Davis is also suspended for this game to due academic reason that rolled over from last year. You will see a surprising change in the receiving corps this week catching most people off guard. Joe Hills and Jason Barnes with either Moe Brown or Dion LeCorn, or possibly with a double tight set, Jarod Cook and Larry Freeman will be the starters.
